The scale

Nine tones, and what each one is for.

Every frequency carries its own traditional chakra association. Tap the circle to hear it — the same tone the app plays, looped seamlessly rather than cut and restarted. Open any row to read what that one is traditionally used for.

  1. 174Hz Deep Ease Free Foundation Deep calm and grounding

The low end of the ancient Solfeggio scale, traditionally associated with warmth, safety and a grounded sense of security. People reach for it to settle the mind and let go of the day’s tension.

  2. 285Hz Renewal Below Root Restoration and fresh energy

Traditionally linked to renewal and rejuvenation. Listeners turn to it when they feel depleted — a gentle reset that leaves them feeling restored and ready to begin again.

  3. 396Hz Let Go Root Liberating guilt and fear

Used to cleanse the feeling of guilt, often one of the biggest obstacles to personal growth. It’s associated with releasing subconscious negative beliefs and the fear that keeps goals out of reach.

  4. 417Hz New Start Sacral Facilitating change, breaking patterns

Associated with undoing situations and facilitating change. It’s used to break away from negative patterns and clear the ground for a genuine new beginning.

  5. 528Hz Pure Love Free Solar Plexus Transformation and miracles

Known as the “Love Frequency” and central to the ancient Solfeggio scale. Said to resonate at the heart of nature itself, it’s embraced as a tone of positivity and transformation — the one most people find uplifting and centering during meditation.

  6. 639Hz Open Heart Heart Harmonizing relationships

Associated with harmonious community and interpersonal connection. It’s used to support communication, understanding and tolerance in relationships — romantic, family or social — and to balance the heart chakra.

  7. 741Hz Clear Voice Throat Awakening intuition and self-expression

Associated with self-expression and finding authentic solutions to real problems. People use it to clear mental clutter, refresh focus and speak with confidence. Also linked with awakening intuition.

  8. 852Hz Inner Sight Third Eye Returning to spiritual order

Connected to the third eye chakra and used to awaken intuition and inner strength. It’s associated with returning to a state of spiritual order and opening the mind to higher awareness.

  9. 963Hz Divine Light Crown Awakening and connection

Known as the “God Frequency” and embraced as a tone of awakening and higher awareness. Said to reconnect you with a sense of unity and light, it’s often used to close a practice in stillness.

174 Hz and 528 Hz are free to play, as is the Rainfall bed. The 7-day trial opens the rest.

The library

And 24 more sounds to sit underneath.

Binaural beats, colored noise, nature sounds and ambient music. Every one is a seamless loop, every one layers with the tones and with each other — so a sleep sound and a focus sound are the same library, mixed differently.

Binaural beats

5

Headphones required — each ear gets a slightly different tone.

  • DeltaDeep, dreamless rest
  • ThetaMeditation and drifting
  • AlphaRelaxed, calm focus
  • BetaActive focus and alertness
  • GammaPeak clarity

Colored noise

4

For masking a noisy room, or filling a too-quiet one.

  • WhiteAn even hiss across every frequency
  • PinkSofter, with more weight down low
  • BrownA deep rumble, like distant thunder
  • GreenA midrange hush of wind and water

Nature sounds

7

Recorded beds, long enough that the loop never announces itself.

  • Rainfall FreeA steady shower, soft irregular bursts
  • Forest CanopyWind moving through leaves overhead
  • Ocean WavesSurf rolling in on a slow rhythm
  • Cozy HearthA crackling fire and popping embers
  • Night SkylineA hushed city settling in
  • Summer NightfallA steady chorus of cicadas
  • Mountain WindOpen air across high ground

Ambient & instruments

8

Quiet enough to sit under a tone without competing with it.

  • WeightlessFloating tones with no edges
  • GoldenhourWarm, glowing ambient pads
  • ThresholdTextures that drift and slowly open
  • StillwaterSlow synth pads that blend
  • DriftwoodSpacious piano with long decays
  • NightglowWarm lo-fi with a tape softness
  • Singing BowlsTibetan bowls, overlapping sustains
  • HandpanMelodic, percussive, organic

Mixing

One tone is where it starts.

The mixer runs several sounds at once, each on its own fader. Sit 528 Hz under a delta binaural beat, bring in rain and brown noise, keep the music just audible. Save the mix and it’s waiting for you tomorrow night.

  • Run several sounds at once, from any part of the library
  • Set the volume of every layer independently
  • Save a mix as a favorite and reopen it in one tap
  • Put the whole thing over Spotify or Apple Music

Inside the app

Every screen, as it actually looks.

The Sounds tab showing all nine solfeggio frequency tiles. Browsing binaural beats, colored noise, nature sounds and music. The Mixer with four layers, each on its own volume fader. Building a preset called Sunrise Mind in the mixer. Saved favorite mixes, including Velvet Night and Rainy Cabin. The sleep timer set to twenty minutes. Settings with fade-out duration, vibration and Apple Health.

While you sleep

Made to be left running.

Sleep timer

Pick a length, fall asleep. The mix fades out over up to ten seconds and closes on a soft gong instead of cutting dead.

Plays over Spotify

Turn on Play over other audio and the tones sit on top of whatever’s already running — Spotify, Apple Music, a podcast. Your playlist keeps going underneath.

Lock-screen controls

A single tone shows up on the lock screen with play and pause, so you can stop it without unlocking.

Apple Health

Sessions can be written to Mindful Minutes, if you want them counted. Off until you turn it on.

Questions

Before you download.

Anything not covered here — support is one page away.

What is solfeggio frequencies music?

It’s music and sound built around the nine tones of the ancient solfeggio scale — 174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz. People listen to it while meditating, winding down or working quietly. This app plays each tone as a clean, continuous sine wave, and lets you layer other sounds on top.

What is 528 Hz?

528 Hz sits in the middle of the solfeggio scale and is traditionally called the “love frequency”. It’s the tone most people come looking for, so it’s one of the two that stay free in the app once the trial ends.

Do I need headphones?

Not for the solfeggio tones, noise or nature sounds — speakers are fine. Binaural beats are the exception: they rely on a slightly different tone in each ear, so headphones are required for those to work as intended.

Can I play it over Spotify or Apple Music?

Yes. Turn on Play over other audio in Settings and the app stops taking over the audio session, so solfeggio frequency music layers on top of whatever you already have playing — Spotify, Apple Music, a podcast. Set your own music low and the tones sit over it. It’s off by default, so the app behaves normally until you ask for it.

Can I play several sounds at once?

That’s the point of the mixer. Run a solfeggio tone, a binaural beat, colored noise, a nature bed and music together, set the volume of each one separately, and save the result as a favorite.

Is any of it free?

The app is free to download and starts with a 7-day free trial that opens everything — all nine frequencies, the whole sound library, unlimited mixing and the unlimited timer. If you don’t continue, 174 Hz, 528 Hz and the Rainfall bed stay free, with sessions up to 10 minutes.

Headphones on. Pick a tone. That’s the whole thing.
